That is the mantra you keep repeating to yourself as you turn on the 5th consecutive episode of their favorite cartoon at 10 AM. There are toys all over the living room that you just cleaned last night and…. Is that a sippy cup wedged between the sofa cushions?

Make a Movie
All over YouTube, you can find videos of families who have made video blogging, vlogging, their full-time job. If this is not the norm for your family, making a video could be a great way to spend a few hours of quality time together! You can have different family members capture smartphone videos while going about their daily activities and edit them together to make a “day in the life” feature all about your family. Want to be a little more creative? Get everyone together for a brainstorming session and come up with ideas for a movie. Design “sets” and costumes using your own clothing and things and places around your home!
Formal Night
Your family has been at home 24/7 for a couple of weeks now. Wouldn’t you like to set sail on your very own cruise? Since it will be a little while until the cruise ships sail away again, why not have a formal night at home? Everyone can get dressed up in their fancy clothes. You can order a delivery dinner from a nice restaurant nearby. Take out the nice dishes and tableware and eat in the formal dining room. If you have an older child, ask them if they want to pretend to be the server. If you really want to get into it, have the kids draw pictures of oceans and tropical beaches to hang on the walls!
